[Cacfp] CACFP Agreement Update

Good Morning,

As many of you are aware due to delays beyond our control a significant number of CACFP Agreements are not approved yet for the 2024 Agreement Year. What does this mean for your Sponsorship? If your Sponsorship does not have an approved agreement, you will not be able to submit a claim for October UNTIL the agreement is approved. The day your agreement is approved you will be able to submit your October claim for reimbursement and it will be approved for payment on Wednesdays per usual.

What is the plan?
The CACFP Team met this morning and have cancelled/postponed all meetings/trainings/Administrative Reviews for the month of November to get all agreements approved ASAP:

Those Sponsors with pending Reviews from 2023- Please be aware they will not be touched until all 2024 Agreements are approved.
Those Sponsors being Reviewed in November- The Reviewer assigned to your program will be reaching out to reschedule your review for a later time. (The review month and uploads will remain the same).
The Basic Training Scheduled for November 9th has been cancelled. Paula will be reaching out and adding registered individuals to the training scheduled in January.
The Open Office Hours for this month have been cancelled.
Maine CACFP will not be taking on any new CACFP Sponsors until January 2024.
You will be notified via email as soon as your agreement is approved.

What can you do?
Continue to be patient with us as we are working thru these agreements.
Check email messages regularly for agreement correction emails or updates.
Hold non-critical questions for CACFP Reviewers until December.


Please know processing these agreements so reimbursements can be processed is our top priority.
